Charlie Hebdo, a somewhat obscure magazine, [1] is suddenly is an

international star.

At wednesday 7 january, two masked gunmen killed ten members

of the Charlie Hebdo editorial staff and two police officers, during

an editorial meeting. [2]

Soon international political reactions burst out, from over the whole

world. [3]

The Dutch King Willem Alexander showed ''very shocked'', as the Dutch

prime minister Rutte [4] and the other heads of State.

Leitmotiv was the criminal act and, in various terms ''the attack

against freedom of expression, a precious fundamental freedom which we must continue to defend." [5]

One of the few reactions, which looked farther, was the Indonesian,

which expressed, except a concdemnation '' fear that Wednesday's deadly shooting attack on the office of the French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, will harm Muslims around the world and hope the international community will be fair with this incident and not generalize it as part of Islam'' [6]

Iran pointed out, that '' "making use of freedom of expression... to humiliate the monotheistic religions and their values and symbols is unacceptable." [7]

And of course the Dutch extreme-right Europese political gangster,

PVV fuhrer G, Wilders [8], as other European racist scum, uttered

their hatespeech and war language against Islam and muslims. [9]

A ''Charlie Hausse'' was created and millions in Europe

stood and shouted ''I am Charlie''

Cartoonists published more or less sordid cartoons [some

downright hatespeech] [10] and spontaneous ''I am Charlie''

demonstrations were held. [11]

This was only a prelude to the great Paris Charlie Hebdo March.

But there also were otherl sounds:

Morocco's Foreign Minister Salahedinne Mezouar didn't participate

with the Paris Charflie Hebdo March, because cartoons of the

Prophet Mohammed would be carried. [12]

The unity for Charlie Hebdo was not so broad as was

presented in de media:

An investigation of the Journal du Dimanche showed, that

four out of 10 French people think the magazine

Charlie Hebdo should not have published the Prophet

Mohammed cartoons because of the offense to muslims. [13]

A RIGHTFUL ''CHARLIE HAUSSE''?

OR IS THERE SOMETHING ROTTEN AT THE BOTTOM

OF ''CHARLIE''

Of course the killings of 12 people are never to be justified.

Understandable, thjat people want to show their grief and

solidarity.

But there is a big difference between showing your indignation

over a barbarous act and declaring solidarity with a magazine.

Because shouting ''Je suis Charlie'' means identification

with the Charlie Hebd Magazine.

AND THAT'S THE POINT!

Because:

What is Charlie Hebdo and do they deserve solidarity?

A/FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

CHARLIE HEBDO, THE MAGAZINE, IS

RACIST AND ISLAMOPHOBE

The Charlie Hebdo Magazine has a leftist tradition [14], but that

engagement is over since long.

What they have focused the last years is filthy and disgusting.

They have ridden with Islamophobia by publishing cartoons,

which are highly insulting to muslims.

Especially their infamous Mohammed cartoons. [15]

They are stigmatising and insulting and the muslims who are depicted

at the cartoons, are stereotyped with the usual big noses.

That is discriminating.

Charlie Hebdo also was the first to publish the notorious Danish

Mohanmmed cartoons [16]

One of the Danish cartoons was the notorious image of the Prophet

Mohammed with a bomb in his turban. [17]

Insulting towards the Islam and therefore muslims, but also

discriminating, since the suggestion is made, that all muslims

are terrorists.

Downright cowardly in a time of virulent Islamophobia.

RACISM

But there is more!

Charlie Hebdo also is racist, since it portrayed the French

minister of Justice AS A MONKEY! [18]

It also dared to depict real or alleged Boko Haram

sex slaves with the usual stereotypes for black people:

fat lips, vampire teeth, rolling eyes and crazy grimaces. [19]

That is no ''freedom of expression'', but Islamophobia and naked

racism, since freedom of expression doesn't mean to limit the rights and freedoms

of other people.

B/FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

PARIS CHARLIE HEBDO MARCH OF WORLD LEADERS/

MARCH OF HYPOICRISY

Shameful was the p;olitical presence of ''world leaders''

at the Paris Charlie Hebdo March. [20]

Not only the Charlie Hebdo rubbish is racist and Islamophobe

and therefore no freedom of expression, those politicians,

who cry crocodile tears, hammering to the ''free speech'',

are no free speech lovers at all.

Examples:

The French president Hollande, who boasts on the

''free speech'' is very selective.

This free speech champion is a warm adherent of the Burqa

ban. [21]

The free speech of pro Palestinian demonstrators is also

of no concern to Hollande. [22]

The British prime minister Cameron, also a ''free speech champion''

except when muslims are concerned, since the the Home Office is now expecting nursery school teachers and child-minders to

to report toddlers at risk of becoming terrorists. [23]

Another free speech ''champion'' was war criminal, the Israeli

prime minister Netanyahu, who still occupies and oppress the Palestinian

territories, with free speech only for the dead. [24]

Turkish prime minister Davutaglu also defended ''free speech'

That was not very visible during the oppression and

intimidation of the Gezi park demonstrations in 2013. [25]

And not to mention the oppression of the Turkish Kurds,

not allowed to speak their own language and enjoy their own culture.

And not to forget the Spanish prime minister

Rajoy, another ''champion of free speech'', who tries

to crush the right to protest by a suppressive Security

Bill. [27]

FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

DEMONSTRATIONS AGAINST THE

MOHAMMED CARTOONS IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD

The reaction in the Islamic world was quite opposite, by demonstrations

against the Charle Hebdo Mohammed cartoons. [28]

I think they're right.

The cartoons are insulting and discriminating.

In each case it is their freedom of expression, although I doubt

if in the Western countries an anti Mohammed cartoons

demonstration were allowed, since there is a double standard

concerning 'free speech''

The same France, that now applauds free speech, has prohibited

in 2012 a demonstration against the anti Islam film ''Innocence

of muslims'' [29]

AGAIN AND AGAIN

REPRINTING THE MOHAMMED CARTOONS

One would think, that the remaining editorial staff of Charlie

Hebdo would reflect on its position, look in the mirror

or discuss about the to follow strategies, but not at all.

One of the first reactions was the republishing of the Mohammed

cartoons. [30]

Is it strange than, that the Islamic world is considering this as

a provocation?

I think not.

Since the ''solidarity'' and interest with Charlie Hebdo is risen

to bog heights in the Western world, up to million copies

were printed, way beyond its usual print run of 60,000. [31]

A real ''Charlie'' hysteria.[32]

ANTI MUSLIM ATTACKS

As to be expected in post 11 september time, anti muslim

attacks were very violent, especially in France, where 128 anti

muslim incidents were reported between the Charlie Hebdo killings

and 20 january, compared to 133 last year, variyng from attacks

on Mosques, persons and threats. [33]

Worse still:

A Moroccan man was stabbed to death in front of his wife. [34]

In the Netherlands there also was an increase of attacks

and threats.

Two muslim women were attackedby a man at Amsterdam Central

Station.

Hero was an unknown man from Surinam [Dutch West Indies], who interfered.

Another hero is to be mentuioned here.

When a kosher supermarket in Paris was attacked by a gunman,

the Malinese born Lassana Bathily,hid people in a cold store room during the assault, so rescuing their lives. [36]

Therefore he was rewarded with the French nationality.[37]

Mr Bathily said about his act of bravery:

''"I helped Jews. We're all brothers,"

''It's not a question of Jews, Christians or Muslims, we're all in the same boat," [38]

Mr Bathily is muslim.

I emphasize this especially towards those who, in their Islamophobia,

are prejudiced against muslims, calling them all ''terrorists''

SAME STORY AGAIN

NEW ANTI TERROR MEASURES

As to be expected, the Eurpean politician have used the

Charlie Hebdo attacks as a pretext for strengthening anti

terror measures. [39]

During a meeting in Paris at 11 januari, the EU ministers of

Foreign Affairs have announced new anti terror measures.

In a joint statement the EU ministers are ''concerned'' about the use

of Internet ''to fuel hatred and violence'' [40]

It concerns ''hatespeech material'', which in reality means the stalking

of muslims and leftist activists, who are critical towards Western imperialism,

military intervention and capitalism.

Anti terrorist measures also imply the confiscation of travel documents of people considered dangerous, to speeding up agreements for the exchange of traffic data of passengers, [41].which is an assault to freedom of movement and

privacy.

Those anti terror measures only feed repression and already existing

terror hysteria.

TERROR HYSTERIA

AT GUNPOINT

To give an impression of the post Charlie Hebdo terror hysteria,

a report of Mr Dyab Abu Jahjah [42],leftist political activist and

former leader of the anti zionist Arab European League [AEL] [43].

It is all about his arrest before his home, because ''he looked

suspicious'', guns were pointed at him and a friend. [44]

Being a Libanese is a police target in those times of terror hysteria.

EPILOGUE

Free speech.

Since 11 september 2001, that is the pretext for utterings of

racism, right wing populism and Islamophobia.

Revealing that racism and Islamophobia, as criticism of

Western military interventions in the Middle East, is often seen

as ''extremism''

After the murders [which were, of course, not to be justified]

of Dutch anti immigration politician P Fortuyn and cineast T van Gogh,

it was all ''free speech'' which was attacked.

Although Fortuyn was a racist and Islamophobe and T van Gogh

an Islamophobe and antisemite. [45]

Charlie Hebdo is no exception, since it is an Islamophobe

and racist garbage paper, with yearlong purfposedly

provocation under the pretext of ''satire''

And after this assault no reflection, but again and again,

the reprinting of the same Mohammed cartoons. [46]

The same provocation continues.

The racist character is all too obvious.

Because the depiction of a black woman as a MONKEY

is diehard racism. [47]

Some people defend Charlie Hebdo by stating, that the paper

also published progressive cartoons. [48]

That may be true, but the Islamophobe and

racist character is evident and that makes the paper

to garbage, not worth reading.

In those times of amounted racism and Islamophobia

Charlie Hebdo's contribution is:

Hatespeech and provocation.

Therefore it's important to condemn the Charlie Hebdo

attacks, but say no to solidarity

with the paper Charlie Hebdo.

Je ne suis pas Charlie.

I am not Charlie.
