Reward offered for information on church fire

EL PASO, Texas – Officials are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for starting a fire inside a church.

 

Special Agent in Charge Robert Champion of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in Dallas and Chief Samuel Pena of the El Paso Fire Department announced they would be offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information on the fire at the Faith Assembly of God Church located at 11455 Turner Road.

The fire happened on Nov. 30. Officials said damages from the fire are estimated to be $200,000.

The public’s assistance is requested on information on whoever is responsible for starting the fire.
